Summary :

The spectacular rise of generative machine learning models in the public domain has brought to light a new potential role for AI: that of a smart, ever-available, and omniscient virtual assistant that would advise human engineers, assist them, and possibly take care of some of their repetitive and less creative tasks. Even though our application domains usually face strong development assurance and regulation constraints, do those contraints actually forbid the introduction of this technology? Are there already some tentative applications of AI for that purpose? What are the research avenues on that matter?During this panel, selected speakers in the domains of AI, embedded systems, man-machine interaction, and certification will address these questions, present their perception of the challenges to be faced, and discuss where, how, and under what limits and constraints AI may help us in being more creative and more efficient.
